Bergisel Ski Jump, Innsbruck

The Bergisel jump was the venue for the winter Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976 and, since its reconstruction, shines with renewed splendour. The tower of the jump was remodelled according to designs by the famous Iraqi architect, Zana Hadid and now is regarded as an architectural highlight in Innsbruck.

The newly designed and most modern ski jumping facility in the world now attracts athletes and tourists from every country to this historic Olympic venue. With over 28,000 spectator places, the facility is in fact predominantly reserved for adventure ski jumps but it’s also used as a venue for events.

The café in the tower is 47m up and allows for a 360° view of the Tyrolean mountains including the Patscherkofel, Nordkette, Hohe Munde and Serles.
