Seegrube-Nordkette skiing area
The Seegrube-Nordkette slope is rated as an expert only run. With its Nitro snow park, the skiing area is especially well known among snowboarders and free riders.
Patscherkofel Olympic mountain
Go skiing high above the roofs of Innsbruck on the Olympic and World Cup mountain that is the Patscherkofel! The Patscherkofel is just a few minutes walk away from the Schlosshotel Igls and offers 20km of piste and a stunning panorama.
Rangger Köpfl ski area – Oberfuß
Around 15km away from Innsbruck lays Oberfuß which offers wonderful skiing opportunities for both beginners and practiced skiers.
Mutterer Alm ski area
The family friendly Mutterer Alm skiing area offers 16km of piste and the Mutterer Alm adventure restaurant with a magnificent sun terrace at an altitude of 1,000m above sea level.
Axamer Lizum ski area
The ski resort of Axamer Lizum is an eldorado for skiers, snowboarders, tourers and deep snow enthusiasts with varied pistes and great touring opportunities.
Glungezer
12km away from Innsbruck lays the Glungezer skiing area, surrounded by beautiful unspoiled nature. There is the longest run in Tyrol at the Glungezer – over 15km long! Here, big and small alike can enjoying both sport and nature. Traditional huts and a cosy restaurant on the Halsmarter will beckon you in for a break.
Schlick2000
Schlick 2000 is the biggest skiing area in the region around the mouth of the Stubaital. Located 15 minutes away from Innsbruck and reachable via the A13 motorway, this diverse skiing area offers reliable snow conditions thanks to its advantageous natural snow pack and comprehensive show making facilities going right down into the valley.
Stubaier Gletscher (Stubai Glacier)
The Stubaier Gletscher is Austria’s largest glacier skiing area and is among the skiing regions with the most reliable snow. Here, you will find 110km of downhill routes, 19km of ski routes and 2km of high altitude cross-country skiing track.
Kühtai ski area
The sun, ski and snowboard paradise that is Kühtai is one of the most renowned winter sports centres in the Tyrol and Austria’s highest skiing resort (2,020m). Away from the hustle and bustle and with a massive array of different expansive pistes, you are able to enjoy skiing here from December to the beginning of May.
